We aim to provide high-quality coffee, straight from our family farms in Colombia. Our 100% Castillo coffee grows on the beautiful mountainside of Caldas at altitudes above 4,300 feet for a smooth, yet complex flavor. The coffee beans are handpicked, carefully processed and roasted, and promptly shipped to the US, ensuring a fresh-tasting brew. 

Our first farm, La Lucia, has been a part of our family for over 50 years, serving as both a farm and a gathering place to share holidays and fond memories. Now La Lucia and our second farm, La Esperanza, continue running as a family project, while directly helping the families of our workers. Our dream is to share the wonders of Colombia through our coffee, and we invite you to share a delicious cup with someone you love.

We are the two brothers behind Rios de Oro. After spending our childhoods in Colombia, we now reside in South Dakota where we continue the family legacy through our small business in addition to being an engineer and an architect by day.
