Why it tastes like this
-
Two family farms
La Lucia and La Esperanza have been in our family for more than 50 years.
-
Washed and fermented
Every lot ferments for 24 to 36 hours before drying, which keeps the cup clean and bright.
-
Fresh when it lands
Roasted in Colombia and shipped to the US within a week of roasting.
Two brothers, two family farms
Juan and I started Ríos de Oro to bring our family's coffee to the US. It grows on La Lucia and La Esperanza, two farms in Caldas, Colombia, that our family has worked for more than 50 years.
Every cherry is picked by hand.
How our coffee is processed
After picking, each cherry is de-pulped, fermented for 24 to 36 hours, washed, and dried in the sun. The washed process strips away extra fruitiness and leaves a clean cup with bright citrus and dark chocolate.
